Cal Poly Athletics is thrilled to welcome fans back to home events this Fall. As we continue to operate with the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans as our top priority the guidelines outlined below will be in place for all Fall home events on the Cal Poly campus. Please note that guidelines may be updated at any time based on evolving public health guidance or updated requirements from health authorities or governing bodies.

Alex G. Spanos Stadium
Attendees at Cal Poly Football games, and Men’s and Women’s Soccer matches at Alex G. Spanos Stadium will be expected to adhere to the following guidelines.

·     Face Coverings – Face coverings are strongly recommended for all fans but not required for vaccinated individuals. Masks will be provided for fans upon request.

·     Hand Sanitization Stations – Hand sanitizing stations will be set up at the entrances of Alex G. Spanos Stadium.

·     Interaction with Coaches & Student-Athletes – There will be no fan interaction with coaches or student-athletes at this time. This includes family members and friends of individuals participating in competition. Teams will depart to the locker room post-game without interacting with event attendees. As a result, teams will not hold autograph sessions this season.

·     Campus Guidelines – Throughout your visit to campus please be sure to follow campus guidelines at all times. Updated campus policies can be found at https://coronavirus.calpoly.edu/ 

·     Stay Home if Sick – While we are excited to have you back at our events, please do not come to campus if you do not feel well. Remain home to monitor your symptoms and seek medical attention as needed.


Mott Athletics Center
Attendees at Cal Poly Volleyball matches in Mott Athletics Center will be expected to adhere to the following guidelines.

·     Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID-19 Test - The California Department of Public Health has mandated that attendees provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event for indoor events with capacities of 1,000 or more. Proof of vaccinations include the actual card, a photo of your card or a QR code verifying that you have been vaccinated. Proof of a negative test must include documentation from the testing agency. Cal Poly Athletics will comply with these new guidelines for all events in Mott Athletics Center starting September 1.  *No required negative test from attendee's 12 and under
